How InfoTiles Handles Data
InfoTiles supports three main types of input data. The only requirement is that the data is structured for machine readability — i.e. table format or database format.
- Data retrieved from source systems and automatically processed by machine learning models.
- Datasets you upload into the solution yourself as static tables (CSV, (geo)JSON, shapefile, or similar).
- Datasets loaded directly from an external source without processing, for example publicly available weather data or a direct mirror of an operational system.
Together, these provide a flexible data pipeline that can be adapted to both continuous streams and periodic, manual updates.
Each data type is described in detail in the articles below. Understanding the differences between them will help you correctly interpret datasets and their update frequency in the platform.
