How to pause or delete an alert

The alerting solution helps you get notified on key metrics that matter to your organization. This article shows how to pause or delete an alert.

Pause an alert

Pause an alert will temporarily stop sending notifications when the alert is triggered. This option can be sometimes useful. For example, pause an alert during maintenance time will prevent too many unnecessary notifications.

Step 1. Navigate to the 'Alerting' page. If you are logged in, this link will take you directly there.

Step 2. Find the alert you want to pause, click the green icon Pause. The Pause icon will turn into the Play icon.

Step 3. Click the Play icon to resume the alert.

Delete an alert

This action will delete permanently the alert from InfoTiles. Please note that the delete action affects right away and cannot be recovered.

Step 1. Navigate to the 'Alerting' page. If you are logged in, this link will take you directly there.

Step 2. Find the alert you want to pause, click the red icon Delete.

Step 3. Confirm your action to delete the alert.
