This article show you steps to inspect export data as a CSV file from a visualization or a dashboard. This will help you check and investigate the raw data.
Prerequisites
To start working with visualizations, make sure to
- Authorized access to the Klink lab
- Select the right tenant
- Have an available visualization and/or dashboard. If not, see How to create a new visualization.
Note: The chart type TSVB (Time Series Visual Builder) does not support this feature.

You can either export data from a visualization or a dashboard.
Export data from a visualization
Step 1: Open the visualize builder
2. Expand the left menu drawer, click 'Tenants' and select the Tenant you want to work with.

Go to4. Click on the title of the desired visualization to open the visualize builder
Note: Remember to specify the date range before inspecting and exporting the data. See more Working with Time Ranges
Step 2: Inspect and export data
1. Click Inspect on the top menu to open the inspector
2. Click Download CSV, select either Formatted CSV or Raw CSV
- Raw CSV downloads the data as it provided, for example, Dates as timestamp
- Formatted CSV downloads the data as table. This is usually more user friendly for use in MS Excel.
3. To close the Inspector, click X in the upper right.
Export data from a dashboard
Step 1: Open the dashboard
2. Expand the left menu drawer, click 'Tenants' and select the Tenant you want to work with.

Step 2: Inspect and export data
1. Hover the pointer over the chart.
2. Click the icon on the upper right to open the menu Options
3. Click Inspect to open the Inspector
4. Click Download CSV, select either Formatted CSV or Raw CSV
- Raw CSV downloads the data as it provided, for example, Dates as timestamp
- Formatted CSV downloads the data as table.
3. To close the Inspector, click X in the upper right.
