Data Directly from Source
Datasets loaded directly from the source, without processing in PipeFusion, are named after the source system. For example: Gemini_workorder_diary.
This data type represents a direct mirror of an external system — the data reaches InfoTiles as-is, without quality assurance, enrichment, or machine learning applied. It is useful for situations where you need to see raw operational records alongside processed data.
Unlike PipeFusion datasets (pf_ prefix), which are automatically corrected and enriched, direct-from-source datasets reflect exactly what is in the source system at the time of the last sync. This means:
- Data quality depends entirely on the source system.
- No automatic correction of missing nodes, connections, or metadata is applied.
- Update frequency depends on the integration schedule configured for that source.
Examples of direct-from-source datasets include publicly available weather data, operational system mirrors, and work order registers.
